The Yamaha AE-12 is a vintage full hollow-body electric guitar produced in Japan in the 1970s. This archtop model is specifically designed for jazz, blues, and rock, featuring a single, smooth Venetian cutaway inspired by classic jazz guitars like the Gibson L-5. Crafted with a spruce top and maple sides and back, it delivers a rich, resonant tone and exceptional playability.

The back has a "German curve," a distinctive design element.

Binding: The body and f-holes are multi-ply bound.
